On the other hand, some suede coats may seem as if they’re made up of natural suede but are actually man-made fibers (micro suede). What is dry cleaning?

Dry cleaning is a process of cleaning garments without water. We immerse clothes in an eco-safe solvent (in the dry cleaning machine) which removes soils and reconditions the fibers in the garments. The solvent is then extracted from the drum of the machine and is filtered and reused. It is more gentle on clothes than traditional wet cleaning.

What is the invisible stain aka sugar stain?

“My garment had no stains on it when I turned in it.”

Sugar stains such as alcohol or any liquid that contains sugar may not be visible when turned in for cleaning. However, the cleaning process and age turns the invisible stain into a brown spot.

Sugar stains are very difficult to treat once the garment has been cleaned. If Avon knows of a spilled liquid on the garment, the garment can be pre-treated before it is cleaned.
